Finding truffles sounds impossible. Then you meet Alessandro and his dog Moca, and it starts to feel real. This Siena Tartufi experience sends you into the woods with a forager, where you learn how truffles are searched for and dug,…
Fresh pasta, no stage, no rush. This Siena class feels like you’re getting invited into a local family’s kitchen, not herded through a set program. I especially like the hands-on pasta making (two pasta recipes plus tiramisu from scratch) and…
There’s no rush on this Tuscan day. You start in Siena in the late afternoon, roll through the Chianti countryside, and end with views over San Gimignano as the light turns golden. What I like most is the pacing: you…
If Tuscany had a highlight reel, this is it. From Chianti vineyards to San Gimignano towers, you get a full afternoon-to-evening mix without renting a car. I love the smart pacing: winery time plus medieval stops, then dinner as the…
Opera in Siena, minus the stuffiness. This concert puts well-known Italian opera arias in the historic center, inside the deconsecrated Church of Santo Stefano alla Lizza. The show runs in the evening, with performances starting at 9:15 pm, so you…
Chianti hills can feel worlds away, and this one runs on schedule. You’ll start at Winery San Giorgio a Lapi and spend 2.5 hours tasting wine with a real family business vibe, plus art and food that make the whole…
Three icons of Italy in one day. This full-day trip from Florence strings together Pisa, Siena, and San Gimignano, then adds a countryside break in a family-run winery with a traditional Tuscan lunch and wine pairing (if you choose that…
Wine country without the car stress. This small-group Chianti trip from Siena mixes castle views, vineyard walks, and a guided taste of how the region’s wine story fits together in real life. You’ll start in central Siena, ride into the…
Siena tastes better with a local by your side. This is a walking tour with tastings that mixes small bites, wine, and gelato with stories about how Siena works—socially, historically, and in everyday life. I like that you get at…
A day of medieval towns, minus the hassle. This is a smart multi-stop day trip that runs out of Florence and packs in Siena plus San Gimignano, with a Chianti winery stop for tastings and lunch. You’re not stuck doing…
Siena towers and wine roads feel like a movie scene. This private trip strings together Florence’s best viewpoints, two historic hill towns, and a working winery experience in one air-conditioned day. It’s built for comfort, but it still leaves you…
Siena’s cobblestones and wine tasting make a strong combo. This day trip strings together three of Tuscany’s biggest hits: Siena for classic cathedral-square views, a family-run Chianti stop for six wine tastings plus lunch, and free time in San Gimignano…
Towers, stone, and saffron in one long day. This 8-hour small-group trip strings together three Tuscan classics with real texture: a stop at the Monteriggioni fortress, a walk through San Gimignano’s UNESCO tower skyline, then hands-on alabaster work in Volterra.…
Chianti at dinner time is a different kind of magic. I love the vineyard-by-sunset aperitif and the rustic farmhouse dinner setup, served with wine and a real sense of Tuscan rhythm. One possible drawback: the evening can feel a bit…
Twisting roads. Big views. Solid wine. This full-day outing from Siena layers two hill towns—Pienza and Montepulciano—with winery stops and time to wander at your own speed. I like that you get both the food-and-wine side (including lunch and tastings)…
